TFD Airsoft Scenarios

Listed below are some of Task Force Devil's recent mil-sim scenarios.

OPERATION - INJURED BIRD

Attention all TFD members, your presence on the airsoft battlefield is required.

When: Sunday - 24 June, 2007
Where: TFD field camp headquarters, Stroudsburg
Time: 10:00 Hours
Scenario Play - 3 Interdependent Scenarios

1. Intelligence reports that a lone sniper in advance of an enemy re-con force has been detected in our sector.  It is our job to route the sniper, preferably capturing the individual, and question them for further intel on the re-con support follow-up.

2. A Navy F-18 was downed in our sector by an unknown missile battery. The pilot has apparently survived as his locator beacon was active until this morning. An anti-aircraft missile battery has been detected by forward observers of Delta Co. Delta Co. was involved in a brief, but fatal small arms engagement with the battery detachment. Could this be the the re-con support follow-up? Our mission is to disable the AA battery, and gather intel on the whereabouts of the downed Navy F-18 pilot and make all attempts necessary to recover him. If we do not recover the pilot, our intel on the enemy's capabilities will be limited, making our hill assault difficult.

3. Enemy troops have been spotted moving into our sector.  They currently hold the hill and have control of the ridge. It is imperative that the enemy be dispatched from this location.  Our mission is to first covertly move in on the enemy position and knock out their communications equipment. This will be necessary so the enemy cannot call for reinforcements during our our full assault. Once we maintain control of the hill the sector will be verified as cleared through routine fire team patrols.

OPERATION - SUNSET

From: TFD HQ
Attention: IMMEDIATE DISPATCH
From: Forward Intel Operations

Gentlemen:

The enemy has been routed from the ridge by 22nd Attack Air-Wing, USAF, A-10 Attack Squadron Foxtrot.

However, the enemy radio communications bunker is still intact and operational. Forward observers identified 3 OpFor patrol scouts in the immediate vacinity.
Activity of the lone sniper has ceased for the time being.

A.S. Foxtrot was unable to get a fix on the enemy AA missile battery and therefore has left the objective operational.

With the AA battery in play, our aircraft will continue to be vulnerable as they must continue to use the valley as a main flyway to keep beneath enemy radar.
Our objective tomorrow will be two fold:

1. Locate and eliminate the OpFor communications bunker.
2. Get a fix on the AA vehicle and disable its ability to function.
